The company is excited to introduce it’s latest development project later this month at SAGES 2026.
SuturePro’s goal is to reduce operative time by automating mesh fixation during open, robotic, or laparoscopic ventral hernia repair. Secondly, it aims to standardize the task with uniform stitch placement, consistent stitch-to-stitch spacing, and a reproducible workflow. Early testing has proven its effectiveness with more detailed results to be shared at the Emerging Technologies conference session.
The technology will be presented by Dr. Charan Donkor, respected general surgeon and co-inventor. “I am excited to be presenting at this year’s SAGES conference. Once fully developed, I believe this will be breakthrough technology for laparoscopic and robotic procedures, significantly shortening procedure time, while not compromising on fixation and procedure outcomes” says Dr. Donkor.
We look forward to connecting with colleagues and industry while at the meeting!
