Company History
2010
The company was founded in Hamilton, Ontario, and several technology patents were granted as a part of a robust IP portfolio. The company began development of its flagship, niche surgical safety solution.
2016
The inception of the Endosurgery business occurred, focused on improving surgical safety in minimally invasive procedures.
2018
A milestone achieved; Mariner received 510(k) FDA Clearance on its LaparoGuard™ Surgical Solution with Safe Zone definition.
2020
To support pandemic supply efforts Mariner engaged with federal and provincial health systems for the distribution of medical and surgical supplies.
2022
The organization continues to invest in its innovation and development pipeline and launches the Mariner SURGinvent™ Program to enrich its product breadth.
