Chart a new course with LaparoGuardAR

We designed LaparoGuard AR to help your team perform minimally invasive surgeries with even more confidence.

Added safety. Added confidence.

Intraoperative complication rates in laparoscopic surgeries, though relatively low, can still be severe.[1, 2]  Mariner designed LaparoGuard AR to help surgical and residency training programs reduce the likelihood of unintended adverse events during laparoscopic procedures by addressing visual spatial, depth perception and localization challenges.

With its small footprint, integrating LaparoGuard AR into an existing operating room environment is simple. Our mobile cart is designed to work with most existing surgical imaging platforms. A seamless addition to your surgical programs.

Designed for compatibility.

Adapt and adjust in real-time.

The heart of LaparoGuard AR is the patented algorithm that allows surgeons to define patient-specific Safe and Danger Zones within the procedural area. Users can easily adjust zones and tracked instruments as required during the procedure. LaparoGuard AR will notify the user of any deviations into or out of the zones by tracking instrument locations within the abdomen.

What are surgeons saying about LaparoGuard™ AR?

I am excited at LaparoGuard™ AR’s surgical safety concept and the application of augmented reality and real-time instrument location tracking during surgery. This technology shows significant potential to advance surgical safety and resident training in robotic and laparoscopic surgery by addressing some of the key safety challenges we often face with minimally invasive procedures.
